Lapeer Community Schools is saddened to report the passing of Brian Moore, one of our hard-working operators and maintenance workers in the district.
Brian, who was also a Lapeer graduate, All-State football player and former coach in our district for several years , passed away last Friday, May 1, at the age of 47.
We will have district emotional support staff available this coming week to provide support for students and staff.
Please keep the family and those who worked closest with Brian in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Funeral service is 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8, at Fitzpatrick Field on the CFI campus. Family and friends may visit 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville and Friday one hour prior to services at the football field. Pastor Roger Keur officiating. Brian will be laid to rest next to his parents in Imlay Twp Cemetery.
